Anna- The taqueria in Pt. Reyes is now Rosie's Cowboy Cookhouse, but it as a definite Mexican accent. It's a bit more upscale and the staff is lovely. You have a photo of El Rey Pakal in San Rafael: it closed in the fall.

OMG!! You have to try Sol Food (Puerto Rican) in San Rafael. Two choice locations: one small and hectic, the other indoors and comfy.
Cookiecrumb: I'm such a nut! I think I just got all overwhelmed with the number of Mexican restaurants and forgot. I agree, Sol Food is FAB! I have to go again, it's been too long! I also forgot to add Mambo's Cafe... I just made corrections since it will be another few months before I do another update on this. I also think I just missed you at the market today.. I was at the soy place this morning too!

Anna, I live in South America, but am originally from the Northbay (Santa Rosa, CA). This blog post made my mouth water. I miss the great eats up in northern cali. Marin is filled with so many grub spots it's ridiculous. One of my favorites is Sol Food. Cool post!
