Now this is strange. Sweden House, the place I just reviewed yesterday, has already closed its doors! No wonder they had no potatoes, and the service was definitively lacking. Hopefully this cheerful space with its lovely deck will be back in action in one form or another soon as it is a gem of a location. I have 'closed' locations now cluttering my sidebar reference, so expect some pruning soon.

No, no, no. This cannot be. I live in Sacramento and for fifteen years I used to make a special trip down there a few times a year just to buy their mazarin pastry. I would buy several at a time. I hadn't realized it had been so long since I last went. This is awful. That bakery had a little deck in the back on the water that I loved to sit and stare at the city while relaxing with my Perrier and mazarin. Now where do I find my mazarins?
