Italian lunch. Dad and I stopped by Piazza D'Angelo for lunch on the weekend. I reviewed this popular Mill Valley restaurant last in April 2007. It was a sunny day, and the staff all had very sunny dispositions too.
Dad tried a light pasta dish, Conchiglie alla Contadina, consisting of small shells, chicken, sun dried tomatoes, broccoli, garlic, white wine and pecorino cheese. He said it tasted very fresh and would like to come again.
I tried a risotto from the specials menu, Risotto con capesante e gamberi. It had carnaroli rice, shallots, garlic, basil, vegetable stock, white wine, marinara sauce and of course prawns and scallops. It was well-combined and I enjoyed every bite. Piazza D'Angelo also has weekend brunch every Saturday & Sunday. This is a place that you can't go wrong to choose.
